Course Description:

General Biblical Introduction:

• This will be on the study on the origin, the collection, inspiration and canonicity of the Bible.
• Establish faith on the written word.
• Give reasons why we can trust the Bible.

Biblical Hermeneutics:

• Students will learn the meaning of Hermeneutics
• Students will learn how to correctly divide the word of truth
• Students will learn to identify different figures of speeches found in the Bible

Godhead: (Christian Evidence & Philosophy)
• The students will learn the nature of God
• Learn why the doctrine of Trinity is sound & Biblical.
• Learn why Jesus is God in the flesh.
• Learn the person, deity and work of the Holy Spirit.
• They will be able to detect false teachings taught by some religions about God, like the Unitarians, INC, JW and Oneness Pentecostals.

Cristology:
• A detailed study of the person, deity, humanity, mission & the unique claims of Jesus Christ.
• This study will also show why we believe those claims to be true.
• Attention is given to the leading events in the life of Christ from his birth to his resurrection and ascension, all of which leads to a greater awareness of His greatness as God’s Son. Moral, doctrinal, historical & practical aspects of the life of Christ will be emphasized.


Public Speaking & Communication

Teach the art & mechanics of Public Speaking.
The student will learn the following:
• How to select an appropriate topic for the occasion
• Gathering information
• How to make an outline
• Dos and don’ts in public speaking

Christian Apologetics
Students will learn how to:
• Reason Logically from the Scriptures(I Peter 3:15)
• Discover and refute fallacies.
• Make cogent arguments for the things we believe

Major Cults in the Philippines
• In this subject students will learn several major cults in the country today.
• Their beginning, founder, and doctrines unique to its group.
• They will be equip and learn how to refute their errors.

Eschatology:
The student will learn what is meant by eschatological doctrine They learn specific things such as:
• The doctrine Heaven & hell.
• The composition of man and his soul and the error of soul-sleep as taught by some groups.
• About death, judgment and the second coming.
• Special study: Error of Premillennialism & doctrines related to it.
• The Destiny of the Earth.

Roman Catholicism

• Students will learn the history of the dogma & traditions of Romanism.
• They will learn the errors of Romanism
• They will learn how to answer the claims of the Roman Catholic defenders.

General Christian Doctrines & Fundamentals of Christianity
• Students will learn what the basic Christian beliefs are.
• They students will learn why we believe them.
• They will be equipped how to present it in a logical and Biblical manner.

Parables of Jesus

• Students will learn how to study the Parables of Jesus.
• They will learn and appreciate the Parables of Jesus as a means of teaching.
• The ultimate goal of the study is for each student learn how to teach and preach from the Parable.

Evangelism - Evangelism is the life blood of the church.
Students will learn:
• How to find prospect.
• How make appointments
• What to do during their visitation in the prospects house, some do’s and don’ts
• How to conduct Home Bible Studies
• Several methods of Evangelism

Why We Believe What We Believe (Christian Apologetics)
• This course is intended to explain why we as members of the church of Christ believe in God and worship as we do.
New Testament Worship (Doctrine & Practice)
• This course is a description of New Testament worship. Emphasis is put on the meaning of worship and the five parts of worship.
The Church of the Bible (Doctrine and Practice)
• The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the church of the Bible. Learn why the church that Jesus built is unique.
• A non-denominational study of the church of the Bible.
Scheme of Redemption (Doctrine)
• This is a study of God’s unfolding plan to save man from sin as it extends from before the creation to eternity down to time of Christ.
Christian Living & Service (Doctrine and Practice)
• This course is a study of the mature Christian and his continuing service to God.
• Principles on Biblical Prayer will be great emphasized.
Christian Evidences:
• This course will present proofs of the claims of Christianity as the one true religion establish by God.
• It will show arguments why a belief in a personal God is sound & reasonable.
Leviticus: A Study on the Old Sacrificial System.

Old Testament Survey (Bible)
• This course is designed to give an overall view of the Old Testament with emphasis on the Creation, Flood, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Bondage, Exodus, Ten Commandments, Wilderness Wanderings, Conquest of Canaan, Judges, United Kingdom, Divided Kingdom, Exile, Return, and Between the Testaments.

Pentateuch:
• A quick survey of the Five Books of Moses.
The Historical Books of the Old Testament:

• A quick survey of the 12 books of the O.T. which constitutes the historical book of O.T.
The Minor Prophets:

• Study on the 12 books known as Minor Prophets.
The Major Prophets

• A quick survey of the three books in the Bible, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
Inter-testamental Period:

• A Study of the so-called silent years of the between the two Testaments.

• To show that the so-called silent years were not really silent years but packed with events that prepares the world for the coming of the Messiah and the establishment of the New Testament Church.
New Testament Survey (Bible)

• This course is designed to give an overall survey of the New Testament, which includes the Life of Christ, the beginning and growth of the Church, and encouragement to Christians.
Pauline Letters: (Bible)

• This course includes a study of Paul’s letters to the first century church. Each letter is studied to determine its major purpose and to apply them today. These include:
• Romans -
• I Corinthians,
• II Corinthians,
• Galatians – Christ-centered Gospel is the only thing that can save us from sins.

Prison Epistles of Paul:
• Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, & Philemon

Epistles to Evangelists:

• These three epistles of Paul discuss the work of an evangelist.
• I & Thessalonians, I, II Timothy, Titus

General Epistles
• This course is a study of the general epistles. Each book is studied to determine its primary message and application. This includes: James, I, II Peter, I, II, III John, Jude.

Hebrews:

• Study on the epistle to the Hebrews
• In this Book we will see why Christianity is a superior religion over the Jewish and other religions in the world.
• We will show Christ’s superiority.
• See the fulfillment of the Jeremiah’s prophecy concerning the coming of the New Covenant.

Acts – The Mission Book of the New Testament
• This course is a study of the establishment and spread of the early church. Emphasis will be given to the principles and techniques, which will enable one to do effective work as a missionary.

Revelation
• This course is a detailed study of the book of revelation hat emphasizes the text, audience, date, ad occasion of writing of the book.
• We will learn some important lessons.

Spiritual Leadership & Church Growth (Leadership)
• This course presents the local church in God’s plan and the individual Christian’s relationship to this plan.
• A detailed study on church eldership vs. the pastor system.

The Gospel of Christ (Bible
)
• We will study in this lesson what is the Gospel of Christ.
Lesson Preparation and Presentation (Practical)
• This course covers the principles and techniques of preparing and delivering sermons. Logical outlining and effective presentation of various types of sermons are emphasized.

Marriage and the Family
• This course is a study of the Biblical view of marriage considering such topics as the marriage itself, the Christian man, the Christian woman, the children, and family living.

The Role of Woman
• This course is designed to teach the role of woman in relationship to her husband, her children, and the church. Emphasis will also be given to studying different women of the Bible (For women only).

Music in the Church (1&2)
Course Description: the student will learn the following:
• Teach the rudiments of Music.
• To equip song leaders and worship directors become able song leaders.

Evangelism:
• Teach the fundamentals of Evangelism, prospecting, making appointments, conducting homes Bible studies. Teach some methods on evangelism.

Religious Errors: (Doctrine)
• Students will learn what the common religious are taught by some religious groups.
• Students will be taught how to deal with these errors based from the Scriptures.

Church History
This subject will deal on four areas of Church History.
• The Origin of the church as told in the Book of Acts
• Falling Away which resulted to formation of Romanism
• Reformation which resulted to the formation of Protestantism
• Restoration – the Campbell – Stone movement
